Please also notify your child's teacher (by note or email) as early as possible.
Contact Home & School: If a student will not be attending his/her after school activities, it is the parents’/guardians’ responsibility to ALSO inform the Home & School office: RVEHSA.office@gmail.com
Music: If a student is missing an after school music lesson, please also notify their music teacher as well as the music chairs: rves.musicprogram@gmail.com and RVEHSA.office@gmail.com

Morning Entry for all at 7:45 am
o Doors close at 7:55 am
o Late arrivals must report to the main office
Morning recess
o K4, K5 and Grade 1 ---- 9:30 am
o Grades 2 to 6 ---- 10:00 am
Lunch
o K4, K5 and Grade 1 ---- 11:05 am
o Grades 2 to 6 ---- 11:35 am
Afternoon recess for all at 1:15 pm
Dismissal for all at 2:35 pm
2:35 pm General After School Programs, Pelo and Enrichment Program begin
6:00pm General After school Program ends
We are pleased to once again offer you the option to make your school supply shopping quick AND easy! Our Royal Vale Elementary Home & School Association has switched suppliers and teamed up with a Montreal based company called Magasin Scolaire to provide this valuable service to our parents.
Please note, there is no obligation to purchase every item or even any item from the website. You may pick items on the list to purchase from Magasin Scolaire, and finish the list with reused supplies in good condition from last year, or purchase from a different store.

📦 Shipping or pick-up options:
Place your order before July 23rd to choose between delivery or pick-up at Magasin Scolaire headquarters, located at 6744 Hutchison street, Montréal, H3N 1Y4.
After July 23rd, home delivery will be the only option.
*Please review the the supply lists located below, they contain the special labeling instructions from the teachers.
By participating in this service, you will also be contributing a percentage of your purchase back into our new Home & School “Support Fund” as well as programming provided by the Home & School for Royal Vale students!

The Mozaik Parent Portal is used by Royal Vale School (not Home & School), for access to report cards, grades, invoicing, and reporting absences. https://portailparents.ca/accueil/en/ . There is also a mobile application, mParent
Throughout the year, ped days and holidays generally land on Mondays and Fridays. This results in schedule imbalances and the school plans EQUALIZATION DAYS to balance out days that were missed.
Here are the 24/25 School year dates:
Tuesday, October 15 changes to a Monday schedule
Tuesday, November 19 changes to a Friday schedule
Wednesday, December 18 changes to a Friday schedule
Thursday, January 23 changes to a Friday schedule
Wednesday, February 26 changes to a Friday schedule
Wednesday, April 2 changes to a Monday schedule
Thursday, May 1 changes to a Friday schedule
Tuesday, May 20 changes to a Monday schedule
PLEASE NOTE: Equalization days only apply to the regular school day.
They do NOT affect afterschool scheduling (Enrichment, Afterschool, Music, PELO, French Language Activities). All afterschool scheduling follows the calendar date.
