Royal Vale School Governing Board Meeting

A governing board brings together elected parents, administrators, teachers, non-teaching and support staff, Cycle 2 secondary school students, and community representatives who work in partnership to ensure that all students receive the best possible learning opportunities.

The board’s main function is to work with the school administration in setting and implementing policy direction for programs and services that meet the needs of the students and the school community as a whole. Governing board meetings are open to all members of the school community. Guests are provided with two question periods during which they may ask questions or raise concerns. Meetings are held in person at the school and dates are posted in advance on the school website.
